Goals for starting

A serious business, a serious commitment, and serious income require serious standards The JD Premium opportunity is huge! Whether you’re starting out as a part-timer or a full-time, experienced career builder, you’ll make a lot of money when you take this business seriously and set your standards and standards for your team. When you invite people to join, help them define a set of standards that they will live by…no matter what!

They are your ongoing compass as you navigate your career. They apply to leaders as well as beginners. During the whirlwind of activity that new IBOs get into in their first few days, you’re going to need to set these standards to help keep them focused on those simple actions that are vital to their success.

One of the worst things that could happen for you and them is to get too successful. When someone lucks out and get’s too successful and too excited right at the start, they may begin neglecting these standards you set with them. In good times and in bad, we all must commit to our standards.

It’s okay to customize your standards somewhat around your lifestyle, and you can make the list as long as you like to work best for you. Set the standards for each person you’re enrolling. Some call this the “game plan interview.” They may want to adjust some of your standards, but don’t let them distract you from following your standards. Here are 6 standards we suggest that you commit to.

-

1. If you haven’t already done it, start regularly taking 120PV-worth of products you have on auto ship. You must be a person of proof to succeed in this business. Keep track of how you feel before and after taking them. Quantify your results if you can. This is what you want all your people to experience. You need a personal conviction that they work.

2. Invest initially in at least 100 Health News Journals for your personal contacts and reinvest a minimum of 20% of your earnings in your first 90 days training to sending or handing out Health News Journals.

3. Schedule two or three follow-up calls to each person you give a journal to. Make an appointment to present the product, company, and opportunity either by phone or in person. You can invite them to meetings or conference calls as well.

4. Give out at least 100 Health News Journals per month to your own, personal contacts.

5. Hold at least one opportunity meeting or opportunity conference call every week to which you and your people can invite their contacts.

6. Spend 25% of the time you’ve decided to invest in your business on your own personal development. Do this weekly. We suggest ordering the book Seasons of Life and the CD audio set, Challenge to Succeed; both by Jim Rohn (see www.jimrohn.com). These 6 standards are simple actions that will compound over time to create for you an enormous income. To succeed in this business, you need a personal conviction that these standards are working for you and for others in your team. Focus on these standards! Print them out and put them next to your computer and phone. Review them daily, and make sure you stay on track. Don’t get overwhelmed by your success, your paycheck, or this process. Let the standards keep you focused on the actions that will drive your money-making system. Commit to the standards and the JD Premium opportunity will work for you.
